Abused Womens’ Shelter
PVUMC supports the Loudoun Abused Women’s Shelter. Please bring one or some of the 4 following much needed items (collection boxes are in the Fellowship Hall):
- New Bed Pillows
- Board Games
- Baby Wipes
- New or gently used (clean) stuffed animals (under 10” in length)
English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL)

Pastor’s Aid Fund
The PVUMC Pastor uses discretionary funds to provide short term aid to help the needy with food, fuel and other living expenses.
Special Assistance
In response to requests or observed needs, the Congregation provides monetary and other assistance.
UMC Relief Services
Pleasant Valley UMC contributes to the United Methodist Committee on Relief (UMCOR). UMCOR is the humanitarian relief and development arm of The United Methodist Church. UMCOR assists United Methodists and churches to become involved globally in direct ministry to persons in need.
Sharing Facility
Two other congregations share our Church building as their place of worship. Self help groups meet here on a regular basis. The Boy Scouts of America use our property for meetings and activities.
