Pleasant Valley UMC is undergoing renovations to enhance our building and grounds as a place to worship, serve and belong. The original chapel was built in 1894 with additions of office/classrooms in 1945 and sanctuary/fellowship hall in 1991. Renovations include new AC and carpet in the Chapel (completed), a new and much improved parking lot (completed), upgraded exterior lighting in process, improvements to the Sanctuary, and for the Fellowship Hall new bathrooms, kitchen enhancements, new flooring, ceiling, lighting and a new upgraded nursery. Because of problems with the availablilty of labor and material, and time requirements for Loudoun County permits, the renovations of the Sanctuary and Fellowship Hall will start early in 2022. For an update on progress see the Friday Update.
