WELCOME REV. DR. CLAYTON CHILDERS

As It was announced last Sunday, Pastor Sophia will need to step away from her pastoral duties for a while to address health concerns. She remains in all of our prayers. 

In her absence, Rev. Dr. Clayton Childers will serve as Pleasant Valley’s interim pastor. 

Rev. Childers lives with his wife, Rev Denise Childers, in Manassas.  He perviously pastored churches in South Carolina and Richmond, and served for nineteen years at the United Methodist Board of Church and Society in Washington, DC.  Now retired, he enjoys his four grandchildren, local church activities, watching sports, reading, and serving as an interim pastor as needed.
